1 88 Mount St Preston, Lancs. Williams, Elsie Edith (I111)

2 According to Myrna he had a good education but was not ambitious.
He was married twice. Once to Elsie, who died in childbirth after 2 children - Alfred 1909-1988 and Amy 1911-? These children were left with his sister who was comfortably well off. He left for Canada. He probably met Githa in Toronto and they moved to White River Ontario.
They were married in White River Ontario. He ran a fox farm and did trail rides etc. Then they moved to Field British Columbia in 1917 or 18, where Harry supervised the hostel accomodation for CPR workers. They had 6 children. Children were sent to Anglican church. During the depression Githa (who had lots of energy) took the children to the coast to buy a chicken farm in Ladner. Harry came on vacation to visit. They managed to survive the depression that way. Lots of food/garden/cow/chickens/ducks/geese/bantams for eating. Also had an ongoing bil for milk and butter with the grocery store. It took a few years to pay off the 2-1/2 acre property. Harry finally retired and moved to Ladner to be with the family and lived another 30 years.
